Steve is a geostructural engineer specializing in earth retaining structures and shoring for excavations. With a strong ability to solve complex problems, he plays a key role in providing effective solutions for challenging geotechnical and structural projects.
Steve’s interest in engineering began at a young age, inspired by his father, who introduced him to civil engineering. During his time in college, he discovered that geotechnical and structural engineering were his true passions.
Having interned at GeoEngineers the summer before his senior year, Steve was drawn to both the company’s work and its people, which led him to return full-time after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
“I loved the work and the people at GeoEngineers, which is why I wanted to come back full-time,” Steve recalls.
What he enjoys most about his profession and role at GeoEngineers is the fast-paced environment and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Looking ahead, Steve is eager to continue progressing as an engineer and aims to move into project management in the future.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys a range of hobbies, including playing video games, reading—particularly science fiction—and spending time with friends.
