As a marketing coordinator in our Boston office, Sophia assists in marketing and business development operations. She collaborates closely with the marketing team to help execute strategic initiatives and support the company’s growth in the Northeast and beyond.
Sophia’s career journey began with an internship where she gained valuable experience in the AEC industry. During this time, she developed the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals—skills that have proven invaluable in her current role. Prior to joining GeoEngineers, she worked as a marketing intern for an engineering firm specializing in cryogenic pumps and for a marketing and business development consultant focused on professional services in the AEC industry.
After completing her degree in marketing and management, Sophia was eager to jumpstart her professional career, which led her to GeoEngineers.
“I love the opportunity to work with so many different technical professionals,” she shares. “Being part of a team that is always learning and growing is incredibly fulfilling.”
Looking ahead, Sophia hopes to continue developing her skills and advancing in her career, both as an individual and as a member of the GeoEngineers team.
“When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, cooking, doing yoga, skiing, and hiking,” Sophia says. “I also love fun facts and trivia, and I’m always on the lookout for the ultimate fun fact to impress my friends!”
