As an environmental engineer at GeoEngineers, Nicolette provides site investigation, environmental remediation, and regulatory compliance services for construction development projects. She specializes in PFAS remediation and has developed significant expertise in PFAS destruction options for contaminated water and soil, gained through her master’s thesis work. Nicolette enjoys collaborating across offices and practice areas, supporting various projects and contributing her skills in the field and office.

“I love the continuous opportunities to learn,” Nicolette shares. “GeoEngineers offers me the chance to grow professionally and develop my skills in new areas, while also providing autonomy for independent learning.”

Nicolette’s passion for environmental engineering stems from a desire to protect the planet. This drive has guided her career path and fuels her dedication to solving complex environmental challenges.

Nicolette appreciates GeoEngineers’ people-first culture, especially the patience and intentional listening that is ingrained within the company.

“As a rising environmental engineer, I’ve had many firsts with GeoEngineers, and the ability to ask questions—sometimes repeated or reworded—comfortably has been invaluable to my growth,” she says.

Outside of work, Nicolette enjoys a wide range of hobbies, including reading, playing video games, weightlifting, and learning musical instruments. She’s also recently taken up archery and enjoys gardening, puzzles, and spending time in nature.
