Neal is an environmental scientist with more than 30 years of experience remediating hazardous waste sites across New England. As a Licensed Site Professional (LSP), Neal specializes in Massachusetts environmental regulations like the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP). In addition to remedial design and recommendations, Neal provides permitting support, environmental due diligence, construction support, site investigation and countless other environmental services as a leader on our interdisciplinary Boston team.

Along with his technical work, Neal spends a lot of his time managing people and projects. Large-scale environmental cleanup projects can be incredibly complex and last for years or even decades, but Neal keeps them moving forward. He bridges the gap between our clients and regulatory agencies like the EPA—finding common ground and cooperative solutions that protect human health and the environment.

Over the years, Neal has provided LSP and environmental consulting services for a variety of remediation projects, including refinery waste acid sludge pits, bulk fuel storage facilities, waterfront work, investigation and remediation of PCB-impacted sites, large-scale linear projects, airports, manufacturing facilities, and environmental due diligence for commercial properties.

Neal’s environmental experience is also the perfect complement to GeoEngineers’ development and construction services teams in Boston. He provides due diligence, permitting, soil disposal, and reporting services to keep our projects on track and our clients protected.

We want you on our team.
