Amberlee Brinkman is an integral part of GeoEngineers’ Springfield office, where she brings a unique blend of administrative expertise and energy to the team. She provides general administrative support and helps technical staff with more specialized gINT and word processing skills.
“My background in the humanities lends to a people-focused work ethic,” Amberlee says. “I am always looking for ways to help support others.”
Although new to the field of professional consulting, Amberlee’s career has always been focused on people. She spent time learning practical people skills as a youth pastor before taking an administrative position in a graduate-level counseling program. When her son was born, Amberlee embraced the role of stay-at-home mom during his first year and a half. As she prepared to re-enter the workforce in 2023, Amberlee was on the hunt for a company that matched her people-first priorities.
“I was looking for an administrative role, but I wanted to work for a company that would utilize this role to support others and care for clients and employees alike,” Amberlee says. “It was clear this was important to GeoEngineers.”
Outside of the office, Amberlee’s life revolves around her family; her husband, son, and two pups. Board games are a shared pastime for Amberlee and her husband, and she enjoys finding quiet and creative moments for crochet. On the weekend they enjoy exploring local parks, restaurants, and her toddler’s favorite—farms!
