This year, GeoEngineers’ Tacoma, Washington office participated in the 2024 Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive, a fundraising campaign to provide Pierce County students with the gear they need for the upcoming school year. The effort is organized by Communities in Schools, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting underserved students.
Our Tacoma colleagues have been collecting school supplies for the past several weeks, and the donations were picked up (by bus!) on August 15. Supplies will be packed into backpacks and distributed to students at a community block party at the end of the month, just in time for school. Thank you to Alissa Kastner for organizing and coordinating the drive, and everyone in Tacoma for the donations!
