Members of GeoEngineers’ Spokane office recently worked with owner Avista Utilities to renovate Huntington Park, located between City Hall Plaza and the Spokane River. The site is located below the Spokane Falls Gondola and between a number of existing structures, so GeoEngineers performed subsurface explorations and provided geotechnical engineering recommendations that supported the park improvements and surrounding infrastructure. We also helped analyze and safely dispose of small amounts of slightly contaminated soil that was discovered during the park excavation.
