On September 28, GeoEngineers continued a 20-year tradition of support for NAIOP Washington State, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, by participating in its annual Community Enhancement (CE) project. A group of GeoEngineers staff joined more than 200 other volunteers from the real estate community, including many of our clients and project partners, to spend their Saturday doing clean-up and light construction at Shelton Elementary School in Bothell, Washington.
This year GeoEngineers’ volunteer team included Tim Syverson, Michael Gray, Javan Ruark, Layne Alfonso, Stuart Brown, Regis Ndayambaje, Lori Otto, and Matt Smith (left to right in photo). Together, they worked on a variety of tasks throughout the property, including painting, constructing new playground equipment, classroom repairs, and landscaping. Thank you to all of our volunteers for engaging with their community, especially Michael, who helped organize the event as a member of the NAIOP planning committee.
