Join us for the upcoming ASCE Southern Idaho Section‘s January Lunch and Learn featuring our own Ryan Carnie, P.E. Ryan brings over 25 years of experience in river restoration and civil engineering projects across the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West, and he’ll be talking about fish passage and its growing importance in roadway crossing replacement projects. Attendees will learn about the Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) groundbreaking fish passage program, which integrates science and engineering to meet both environmental and infrastructure goals. Ryan will highlight WSDOT’s collaborative approach with tribal and state agencies, key design innovations, and regional trends shaping the future of fish passage projects.
