- GeoEngineers removed a levee along the Walla Walla River and reestablished the historic landscape of the site by reconnecting approximately 10 acres of riparian floodplain, dramatically increasing habitat and passability for Chinook and steelhead.
- Restoration improved the geomorphic function and habitat attributes of the stream channel, banks, and floodplain.
- During the Upper Wallowa River Restoration project, GeoEngineers designed improvements in four distinct reaches over 1.5 river miles, ranging from an alluvial fan at the downstream end, to a confined channel with failing banks at the upstream end.
- Completed an alternatives assessment and conceptual design for river and floodplain enhancements along 1.5 miles of the Walla Walla River.
