Chris provides the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) team with designs and works onsite with contractors and clients to ensure pipelines are installed according to plans. “I really like being involved with HDD projects all the way from design through construction. I have experience working in the field with contractors, and have learned how to communicate effectively with them to get their cooperation with minimal conflict,” Chris said.
Chris’s field experience came from working as a network engineer with Sprint for just over a year, and as a construction inspector with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) for nearly five years. He said he chose to join GeoEngineers because of the staff and that the move was a great opportunity and a good direction to take his career.
Outside of work, Chris spends most of his time with his wife and daughter going to church, watching movies, bowling, working out the gym or going to the park. His personal hobbies include hunting, fishing and traveling, and says he wants to add snowboarding and surfing to the list before he gets too old.
