Brian designs ways to solve environmental contamination problems and helps clients navigate environmental regulations. “I really enjoy helping clients think through the overall strategy of a project in order to solve the problem in the most effective way possible. I also truly enjoy the people I work with at GeoEngineers; it simply makes working more fun,” Brian says.

Prior to joining GeoEngineers, Brian was primarily working with federal regulators to address large-scale contamination problems. He also worked as an Engineers Without Borders professional mentor through the University of Washington, traveling multiple times to Bolivia in 2009 to help design and implement potable water systems in remote villages.

When he’s not busy cleaning up the outdoors, Brian is out enjoying them through biking, skiing, surfing or road tripping with his wife in their Westy camper van. “I love the outdoors, and environmental engineering allows me to clean up the environment one site at a time. The most satisfying projects to me are those that provide value to the environment and the community, such as the redevelopment of a contaminated site into a public park or beach,” he says.
