Two New GeoEngineers Offices Anchor Emerging Markets

GeoEngineers is growing with the addition of new offices in Houston, Texas and Charleston, South Carolina. The offices are strategic investments meant to increase the firm’s operational capacity in important new markets, and they bring GeoEngineers’ offices to a total of 14 nationwide.

Several strategic hires are leading business efforts in the new Houston office. Danny Crumpton, a horizontal directional drilling (HDD) specialist with more than 25 years of experience, will focus on expanding GeoEngineers’ share of pipeline business with Texas energy clients. David Jessup will also be focusing on growing industrial wastewater consulting services in the Texas market, and diversifying our service offerings to existing clients. GeoEngineers offers more than geotechnical services and can bring added value to our clients with environmental services and risk analyses. Both new hires look forward to the opportunity to bring high-quality trenchless and environmental expertise to East Texas.

In recent years, South Carolina has become a hub for GeoEngineers’ rapidly growing performance-based engineering (PBE) team. Experienced PBE specialists Zack Simpson and Heidi Cashman are acting as local project managers for our PBE team’s growing workload in South Carolina and up and down the East Coast—focusing primarily on transportation and development projects in soft soils vulnerable to liquefaction and other risks.
