Karla Burgbacher

Karla has been the backbone of our busy Springfield office for two decades, coordinating the endless tasks and support services that keep the local team running smoothly. Over the years, Karla became an expert in GeoEngineers’ national pipeline market, and today she specializes in project management for our pipeline discipline.

Karla supports technical staff by setting up new projects, managing calendars and deadlines, coordinating contracts, tracking field deployment schedules, helping to prepare reports, and generally keeping our project teams on track. Karla is deeply collaborative and always quick to highlight and advocate for her coworkers, and she enjoys tackling new challenges together when they arise.

In her free time, Karla loves to travel with her family. She and her daughter take trips together at least once a year, and so far their favorite destination is Iceland! Karla’s Green Bay Packer fandom is well known (the signed Bart Starr jersey in her office is a tipoff), and on weekends she looks forward to playing board games or just hanging out by the pool with her family. Karla and her husband also own and operate Breadsmith, an artisan bread store. He runs the store, but Karla often helps out when she’s not at GeoEngineers.
