Expertise
Dr. Kevin Lindsey has primarily focused on groundwater evaluation and control for municipalities and agricultural uses. Most of Kevin’s career has been spent analyzing groundwater in the watersheds of the Pacific Northwest, especially the Columbia Basin, where he’s managed a number of groundwater supply studies.
“As someone living in the semi-arid West, I understand how water supply development, protection, and management is critical to healthy communities and environments,” Kevin says. “Protecting these sensitive resources is what I love to do.”
Kevin’s deep understanding of geology and hydrogeology includes hydrogeologic characterization, ASR and aquifer recharge, monitoring of sediment and basalt aquifers, and well logging for geotechnical, vadose zone, and groundwater wells. No matter what type of service is needed, Kevin enjoys the process of searching for solutions that will satisfy his clients.
“I like applying the science to practical solutions that work on the ground,” Kevin says.
Even on his own time, Kevin gravitates toward rivers and natural ecosystems. You might find him fly fishing for trout in one of the many Columbia River tributaries, hiking, backpacking, or getting dirty in his home garden.
