Every day is unique for Garrett. As a field technician he spends much of his time on job sites doing whatever is needed to keep a project on track. He takes soil samples, performs nuclear density and compaction tests, coordinates with contractors and completes analysis in the lab.

“Building things and playing with rocks as a child was one of my favorite things to do and to be able to do it as a profession Is just a dream come true,” Garrett says.

Garrett enjoys spending time in the outdoors, and his position at GeoEngineers gives him the chance to appreciate our natural resources while working to protect them through GeoEngineers’ environmental projects.
In his free time Garrett enjoys kayaking, golfing, backpacking, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding.

“There is nothing more peaceful then going and getting myself lost in the woods for a couple days—just enjoying the peace and quiet of the outdoors,” Garrett says.
