Senior Fluvial Geomorphologist Tim Hanrahan, PhD, recently accepted an invitation to join the editorial board of the North American Journal of Fisheries Management, a publication of the American Fisheries Society. The journal is one of six peer-reviewed publications the society produces to share the most current science behind the fisheries profession.
The North American Journal of Fisheries Management in particular covers many topics related to river restoration and salmon recovery. In this position on the journal’s editorial board, Hanrahan will take on review responsibilities for manuscripts in the physical sciences categories of fisheries management, including geomorphology, watershed processes, restoration and enhancement, hydrology, hydraulics, and more.
