GeoEngineers is participating in this year’s Louisiana Civil Engineering Conference, and we hope to see you there. Principal Geotechnical Engineer Dave Eley and Geotechnical Engineer Nafi Haque are both presenting at the conference. On Thursday morning, Dave will be co-presenting with Engineering Division Supervisor Shannon Haynes of Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA).
GeoEngineers has provided geotechnical engineering services for some of CPRA’s most ambitious coastal restoration projects over the years, and Dave and Shannon’s presentation will cover the finer points of creating marsh and monitoring fill for these projects. Immediately following their presentation you can hear Nafi and Chad Held of Eustis Engineering share the results of an experimental study on pile setup behavior.
