GeoEngineers is pleased to be sponsoring the Environmental Business Council of New England’s 3rd Annual PFAS Seminar on February 15. The seminar will cover the potential environmental impacts of PFAS (per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) and the need for trustworthy and consistent analytical methods for this class of synthetic fluorine compounds. PFAS repel water and oil, so they have found their way into a variety of consumer products and even firefighting foams. These compounds can take decades or more to break down, meaning PFAS can be very persistent in the environment.
If you’re interested in learning more about PFAS and what future regulations may look like then you won’t want to miss this seminar. Visit the EBC website for more information and to register.
