Lynne worked for a decade at a local well-known software company before returning to college to earn a master’s degree in library science. “People and businesses need help navigating the depth and breadth of information resources now available to make smart decisions. Obtaining my MLIS allowed me to hone my database, internet and research skills to focus on this service.”
Lynne finds, organizes and delivers the business, technical and project-related information that GeoEngineers project managers and clients need to make cost-effective and timely decisions. Typical of her work are projects involve cross-discipline literature reviews and creation of bibliographies for environmental impact assessments, stream channel migration studies, erosion-mitigation, and geotechnical engineering work in the Pacific Northwest. Lynne says she enjoys being part of project teams that work well together and make the client happy.
When her work is done for the week, Lynne really does head for the hills. “My husband and I enjoy spending time and sweat at our off-grid, solar-powered vacation home in Washington’s Cascade Mountains. We also have a houseful of animals, including our two very rambunctious German shorthair pointers and a variety of foster dogs and cats.”
