Eamaan serves as the field representative for major construction projects underway in the greater Seattle area. “I am like the eyes and ears of the company out in the field for these large projects,” he says.
A recent graduate of the University of Washington, Eamaan says pursuing engineering is a natural path for him given his inclination toward math and science. “I choose civil engineering as my undergraduate degree because I was very interested in being behind the design and construction of roads and structures that everyone can see and use. I then choose geotechnical engineering as my graduate degree because I thought it was interesting that soil can be used as an engineering material,” he says.
Eamaan started out at GeoEngineers as an intern and was brought onboard fulltime after finishing his graduate degree. “I enjoy all the different people and personalities I have met so far. Everyone has been very helpful and kind to me in my professional development,” he says.
In his free time, Eamaan enjoys meeting up with friends for happy hour, traveling to warm climates and cheering on his University of Washington Huskies as a season ticket holder. “I am also a big fan of the NFL and NBA. I love talking and arguing sports,” he says.
