Cindi regarded her opportunity to work at GeoEngineers as a challenge. “After working 19 years in the public accounting field, I could tell you just about anything to do with audits or tax returns, but I had no idea what HDD or trenchless technology was about. What I’ve learned in the time I’ve been here is really interesting and eye-opening.”
In her administrative coordinator role, flexibility is the name of the game. Cindi answers phones, uses the gINT software program to log data and helps out in whatever capacity is needed. She especially enjoys the staff and clients she speaks with and works with in the course of each day.
Whenever she can, Cindi likes to spend time with her son, daughter-in-law and teen-aged grandson who live in the Kansas City area. She also loves taking care of her adopted stray dog and two cats and enjoys working with the children’s choir at her church. Cindi’s flair for organizing comes into play when she plans ambitious group vacations. “I love to go on cruises and plan cruises for friends and family. In 2005, I planned a cruise for my birthday and arranged for 43 friends and family to go with me. Then last fall, I went on a Panama Canal cruise. That time only 18 friends went with me!”
