Meet Carrie Rorem, CPA
Chief Financial Officer, Principal

Corporate financial management
Sustainable business processes

Carrie loves being involved with business operations and making decisions that go well beyond applying accounting principles. Prior to joining GeoEngineers, she held progressively responsible roles with USA Today, The Seattle Times Company and several other smaller, private equity, branded merchandising and medical device-related companies.

As CFO, Carrie oversees GeoEngineers’ accounting operations, financial reporting, contract administration and administrative support. Working in partnership with her staff, Executive Management and the Board of Directors, Carrie ensures that strong internal controls and sound procedures safeguard the firm’s assets and maximize profits in accordance with company values. She believes her position will enable her to leverage technology to improve processes, uncover meaningful, actionable information, communicate results and implement positive changes. “The greatest thing for me about working at GeoEngineers is the opportunity to work with smart, creative, common-sense people,” Carrie said.

With a husband who coaches high school wrestling and two sons–one of whom is KingCo champion in  his weight class the past two years–Carrie often attends wrestling events. Outside of wrestling season, she and her family often spend weekends at their cabin near Cle Elum, WA where they enjoy reading, hiking and relaxing.
